The Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship at the University of Oxford is one of the world’s leading fellowship programmes for mid-career journalists. It offers a unique opportunity to step away from daily newsroom work and engage in in-depth research, learning, and global networking.
Program Overview
The programme brings around 30 journalists from across the world each year to the University of Oxford. Fellows spend time conducting research, attending seminars, and participating in discussions on journalism, media trends, and global challenges.
During the fellowship, participants develop a research project that is directly relevant to their career and newsroom practice, while also gaining exposure to new ideas and perspectives.
